RNSIT Bangalore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

RNS Institute of Technology has a boys hostel on the campus. Around 530 students can be accommodated in the hostel. On a shared basis, lodging is provided. Rooms are equipped with minimal furnishings such as a cot, table, and chair.

RNS Institute of Technology has a separate hostel for girl students. A total of 300 students can be accommodated in the hostel. Yoga and meditation classes are conducted for both boys and girls in the early morning. 

The college provides first-aid kit, and ambulance services to the students and faculty, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The students and staff at RNSIT Bangalore have access to an on-campus gym. This service is accessible for both boys and girls, and there are different times available for each.

With a collection of 2000 books, the library of RNS Institute of Technology was established in 2001. The RNS Institute of Technology library is an automated library. The library has a collection of journals and magazines. The institute also offers programmes such as NPTEL, NDL through the K-NIMBUS platform.

The college has modern sports facilities for students who want to participate in sports. A 17,000-square-meter cricket ground is now being built. Students participate in regular training sessions for sports such as basketball, cricket, and football. 

The college has a modern IT infrastructure.

The college has a canteen on campus that serves affordable south Indian and north Indian cuisine. The canteen is open on all working days. 

RNS Institute of Technology has an auditorium on campus that is used to conduct cultural and extracurricular activities. RNS Institute of Technology auditorium has a seating capacity of 1800 people.

Students have access to transportation at the campus. RNSIT has a fleet of ten buses and one van.

Instrumental in starting the alumni association, in 2005 with a membership of over 100. The objectives of the Alumni Association are the following:All the graduate students will be the members of the association.Database of Alumni with continuous interaction will be created with online registration and interaction.Getting assistance from Alumni for Placement activities.Making prominent Alumni as members of various college bodies including Governing Council, for suggestion and guidance.Starting of Alumni initiated and managed Library section.Independent website linking with RNSIT site.The Alumni association will be governed by State bye-laws and will be managed by an Executive Committee.Seeking support from Alumni for the overall development of RNSIT.Association has started working since June/July 2005

The college has Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

RNS Institute of Technology include facilities like bookshops, prism book house and courier and two post offices located very near to campus.

Canara Bank has an extension counter on the campus that provides banking services to students and faculty members. The bank serves as a Banashankari Branch extension counter. The bank is open six days a week.

The hostel has a well-equipped guest room for parents and visitors with all the basic amenities.
