I hear that MBA institutes only take persons with at least 4 years experience and not freshers. Is that right?
Thanks,
Azim
It is totally a myth that MBA institutes dont take freshers. There is a fair percentage of freshers in all colleges including the top IIMs. Yes having a work ex of around 2-3 years increses the chances of you converting the interview calls though, but being a fresher definitely cannot be a major hindrance in your path.
All the best!
Hi Arjun Sridhar,
There is nothing mandatory as experience for securing a MBA seat in colleges. It is just the fact that work experience would help you understand things better and make things more productive.
All the best
