Yes, BITS is a very good institute, especially BITS Pilani. Taking ECE there is worth it. The placement is good with the highest package offered of 30LPA. Nutanix, Qualcomm, and Oracle were the top recruiters. Apart from these, the facilities of the college are good. The faculties are excellent. Overall it can be given 4.5 out of 5 stars. So, taking ECE in BITS is a very good decision, you should go for it.

It is worth doing ECE in Bits. Talking about the campus,it is fully Wi-Fi accessible, every room is provided with ethernet. The classrooms and labs are sophisticated with good equipment. Library is big enough. The whole campus is equipped with great food outlets, messes, sports facilities. All of them are well maintained. 90% of the teachers are qualified. Coming to the course curriculum, students have the choice of choosing their own course of interest for study. Zero attendance policy gives more flexibility for the students to attend classes by different professors. Talking about the placements-The highest package offered - 30LPA at Least - 7LPA. Nutanix, Qualcomm, Oracle were the top recruiters. Software developer, Member of technical staff, Automation Engineer, Associate Product Manager, Devops, Supply chain, Business Analyst roles also were offered.

According to this year analysis,the highest salary package offered was 30 LPA, while the average salary package offered was 12 LPA. Almost all the students get placed in sectors like core or IT or finance, and every student will get good knowledge about their career. It is compulsory for every student to do an internship in these 4 years.Nutanix, Qualcomm, Oracle were the top recruiters.Software developer, Member of technical staff, Automation Engineer, Associate Product Manager, Devops, Supply chain, Business Analyst roles were also offered for the students.Core companies in electronic include Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, National Instruments etc.

BITS Pilani, Pilani campus has the following Fees for Hostel and Food(Mess):

• 12,900/- for 1st and 2nd Semester [Hostel Fees]
• 10,000/- for 1st and 2nd Semester [Mess and Electricity]

Since you have not told about course you are interested in so I am telling you for BTech as most people ask for that :-

Here in BTech also fee depends on your preferred branch it can range from 14 lakhs to 17 lakhs for four year depending upon branch of your own choice.

BITS pilani do offer M.E computer science engineering and the basic eligibility criteria to get admission in same is candidate should have integrated first degree of BITS in the respective discipline or equivalent to this , admission will be provided on the basis of GATE score and you need to fill the application form first

BITS gives admission to the first topper of any state or central board students. the admission is given directly on the basis of 12th score no BITSAT score is required. your 12th marks is very good but for admission into BITS only first topper is eligible.

BITS gives admission to it's M.E. program through 2 process:

• BITS HD online test
• GATE/GPAT score

50% seats for BITS HD test students and 50% seats for students through GATE/GPAT.

According to past year records, one needs to score at least ~650 marks in GATE CS for admission.

BITS Hyderbad has a good placement record, where in previous years the highest package was 14 lakhs per annum and average salary 6 lakhs per annum. Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, Samsung were also part of the recruitment drive.

If you get BITS Pilani campus, then it would be better and obviously Indian Institute of Technology and IISc are much preferred for M.Techs.
