The campus spans 300 acres, offering quality infrastructure including well-equipped laboratories, a central library, and a computer center. Faculty members are experienced, with many holding Ph.D.s from premier institutions.

It offers a sprawling ~273–340 acre green campus with, generally, well-maintained infrastructure, including, but not limited to, multiple academic blocks,, decent, and, somewhat, basic, hostel facilities. Key features include, but are not limited to, a central library, functional, sometimes outdated, labs, and extensive sports facilities (tennis, basketball, cricket, swimming).

1)Curriculum
Theory-heavy, old syllabus in many departments. Updates are slow.
Focus is on passing exams, not building industry skills.
2)Faculty
Some professors are solid in theory and research.
Many are outdated, rigid, and exam-oriented.
Teaching style is mostly dictation + PPT + notes.
Mentorship culture is weak. You won’t be spoon-fed guidance.
3) Teaching Method
Traditional, boring, low engagement.
Minimal case studies, projects, or real-world application.
Attendance matters more than learning.
Truth: This is not an interactive or modern learning environment.
4) Exams & Evaluation
Exams are predictable and memory-based.
Evaluation can feel inconsistent and slow.

Campus Life
Campus life at DCRUST is quiet, slow, and largely self-made. The campus is big, but most days feel empty and low-energy. There isn’t a strong culture of engagement, discussion, or hustle. After classes, many students simply go back to hostels or off-campus rooms.
Hostel life is adjustment-based, not enjoyable. Facilities are basic, mess food is inconsistent, and comfort is limited.

Overall Numbers
Average packages vary widely by source and by branch: generally around ₹4–7 LPA for engineering overall.
Highest package reported up to ₹24 LPA (mostly from CSE/CSE-related roles).
Median packages across all programs (overall UG/PG dataset) are low — ₹3–₹4.5 LPA per recent NIRF-based placements.
Placement figures look okay only on paper because the “highest” packages are much higher than median and most students do not
But actual placement volume for CSE may be low
CSE placements are the best among all branches
Value For Money
DCRUST is value for money mainly because of low fees, not because of quality. You pay less and you get basic academics, basic facilities, and an average campus experience. There is nothing premium or standout, but you are also not being financially exploited like in many private colleges.
The return on investment depends on how self-driven you are. If you rely on the university for skills, placements, or exposure, the value drops sharply. If you use the low-cost degree as a platform and build skills, internships, and networks on your own, the value becomes acceptable.

Academics
The academics curriculum is good enough, proffesors are friendly and good lack of practical knowledge and all , irregular classes are issue. Overall academics is fine . College offers good course content.
College Infra
The canpus has decent facilities overall ,but maintanence is real issue. Classrooms are enough, equipments are very poor, older bhildings needs urgent attention from management no wifi in the building.
Placements
Very few placement opportunity we have in this college , less companies visit college. Arround 50 percent of students a gets placement and its good overall. You need to be in top students to get placed from here.

It is quite difficult to get YMCA with this rank in initial rounds. However, you can try in later rounds or in spot counselling. You can check the YMCA Faridabad cutoff for better clarification.

With a General Category rank of 14 Lakh and an SC Category rank of 139,657 in JEE Main, it's highly unlikely you'll get into a NIT or GFTI through JoSAA or CSAB counseling for a desirable branch. Your SC rank is within a range where you might find a seat
