B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027-01-01
Academics
I am studying B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The academic structure is decent but not exceptional. Some faculty members explain concepts clearly and are supportive, while others rely heavily on notes and theoretical teaching. The curriculum covers core subjects, but it is slightly outdated and does not fully align with current industry requirements. Practical exposure, coding depth, and project-based learning are limited, so students need to work on skills like programming, development, and problem-solving on their own. Exams are manageable, but overall academics require self-effort to become job-ready.
College Infra
The infrastructure of the college is quite good and well maintained. The campus is spacious, green, and clean, which creates a positive learning environment. Classrooms are decent with proper seating, fans, and projectors in most blocks. Laboratories are well equipped for core subjects, though some systems and equipment need upgrading. The library is large, has sufficient books, and provides a quiet place for self-study. Hostels are average but livable, with basic facilities. Overall, the infrastructure supports academic needs well, but there is still scope for modernization in certain areas.
Campus Life
The campus life is decent but not very happening. The campus is large, green, and peaceful, which is good for studies. There are a few cultural events, technical fests, sports activities, and student clubs, but they are limited and mostly student-driven. Interaction with teachers is formal, while students are generally friendly and supportive. The location is relatively safe, and basic facilities like security and medical support are available, though emergency handling can be improved. Overall, campus life is calm and suitable for focused students, but those expecting an active or vibrant college life may feel limited.
Placements
Placements in the college are average and depend largely on the student’s own effort. A decent number of students get placed every year, mainly in service-based and mid-level companies. Core branches and top packages are limited, while Computer Science and related branches have comparatively better opportunities. The average package is modest, and high-paying offers are rare. The placement cell is supportive in terms of notifications and coordination, but students must prepare seriously on their own to crack interviews. Overall, placements are okay for average students but not exceptional.
Value For Money
The course fee is relatively affordable compared to many private colleges, which makes it a reasonable option for students from middle-class backgrounds. The basic facilities like classrooms, labs, library, and campus environment justify the fee to some extent. However, when it comes to advanced infrastructure, industry exposure, and placement outcomes, students need to put in a lot of extra personal effort. If you are self-driven and willing to work on your skills independently, the college can be value for money. Otherwise, expectations should be kept realistic.

Academics
Academics are average. Teachers are experienced and knowledgeable but not very supportive or approachable. Students often struggle to get proper guidance, and the teaching methods feel outdated despite staff expertise.
College Infra
Although the campus is large, the infrastructure is disappointing. Many facilities are missing or outdated, and maintenance is poor. Classrooms and labs need major improvement. Overall, it feels incomplete for a 3-star university.
Campus Life
Campus life is just okay. There are some events and activities, but overall engagement is low. The environment is decent but lacks vibrancy and modern student facilities that make campus life exciting.
Placements
Placements are quite poor. Very few companies visit the campus, and most students struggle to secure jobs. The university lacks strong industry connections and proper placement support, making job opportunities limited.
Value For Money
Value for money is average. The fees are reasonable, but the facilities and support provided don’t match the amount paid. Students often feel the infrastructure and resources are not worth the cost.

Academics
The university struggles academically—most teachers don’t complete the syllabus, and many are frequently absent. Classes are irregular, leaving students to self-study. Combined with poor infrastructure, it makes learning frustrating, though a few motivated faculty try to help.
College Infra
The university’s infrastructure is poor—no Wi-Fi, no drinking water, and classrooms are run-down. Some corners feel eerie, almost haunted. Labs and facilities are minimal, making the campus challenging for students, though a few areas show attempts at upkeep.
Campus Life
Campus life is fairly okay, offering some social and extracurricular activities, but long working hours and a lack of proper facilities make it tiring. Students can engage, but the overall environment feels exhausting rather than truly enjoyable.
Placements
Placements are extremely limited—only a handful of students get opportunities, and even that is rare. The majority leave without any job offers, making the campus weak in career support despite occasional guidance from a few staff members.
Value For Money
The university is low-cost compared to private institutions, but the value for money is poor. Despite cheaper fees, the lack of infrastructure, absent faculty, and almost nonexistent placements make it a disappointing investment for education and career growth.
