Yes, Absolutely. The reason is that GTU has to decrease syllabus as per AICTE or UGC guidelines. As per the last update, all technical institution is going to decrease the syllabus that could be completed during available time.
From my prospect, have to deduct 2 module from each respective subject.
So, students have not to worry about syllabus. There will ane fair deduction in it.
Hello,
Yes it is possible.
Steps :
Done!!!
Yes, you can easily change your branch while taking admission in degree college after completing your diploma course.
And also in most cases you don't face any kind of problem with it because first year of degree college is more related to general engineering subjects rather than specific for a branch.
But you should also remember that taking other branch means that your previous course don't hold much importance after that.
Obviously…. Because GTU is AICTE approved….
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the statutory body and a national-level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development.
So don't worry and prepare for CAT to get an admission into IIM A B C.
ALL THE BEST.
There are nearly 120 students in a batch. Sometimes, it happens that the Vivas are conducted for 2 days for a particular subject. So the batch is divided into two groups : Group A on first day and Group B on second day.
Suppose you are in Group A and you have Viva on the first day. Due to some reason you come to know that you will not be able to give your Viva on that day. You must inform your HOD about your valid excuse. He will talk with the External faculty and request him to take your Viva the next day with the Group B.
But if you fail to give the Viva with the Group B then you'll surely have to suffer the consequences. You'll get backlog in that particular subject and you'll need to clear it in the upcoming semester.
Hello,
Let me correct your question first that if you are getting a degree from GTU wether it is in a mechanical, electrical, civil, computer science or E.C…
That degree is called Bechelor in Engineering (or B.E). not B.Tech.
Because B.Tech degree is mostly given by private universities like Ganpat, Nirma ,PDPU,DAIICT etc.
And all B.E and B.Tec. contain 4 years syllabus which equally divided into 8 semesters
I hope you got your answer.

Hello,
Generally GTU final year exam schedule is in May and same month results also come. But after that you may have less time to apply for visa and also the certificate you need from GTU.
Because actual marksheet and degree comes in January. So from my experience and prospective you can apply for July or September intake means winter intake rather than summer.
All The Best.

The hostel has an old infrastructure, and the atmosphere is not particularly favorable. Hostel rooms are spacious and equipped with a study table, chair, and separate locker. However, the mess quality is not satisfactory, providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a total monthly cost of around $3000. The semester exams aren't that difficult if you know English well and study only the important points before the exam.
Overall college infrastructure is good, classes have chalk board, smartboard, liabrary also have camera facilities, clean and green garden and peaceful environment seprate common room for boys and girls
It is a government college. So, the infrastructure is not that much good. Classrooms and libraries are well maintained but labs don't have any type of equipment which are needed for practicals. The surrounding is clean and canteen have normal food.
