Course Overview

Digital systems, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the internet of things (IoT), have changed the world around us. The Digital System Design online course by Swayam intends to teach you the working of these digital systems and how they are built. Hence, in this course, you will learn what goes behind making these digital systems and the mathematics and algebra used to make them work.

The Digital System Design programme will introduce the challenges and processes behind designing a digital system from scratch and will run for 12 weeks. The core programme belongs to the Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering category. It is presented by Swayam in collaboration with IIT Ropar, which is one of the leading institutes of technology in the country. Professor Neeraj Goel will teach the course.

In addition, after finishing the free course, you can earn a Digital System Design certification by qualifying for the final exam and course assignments.

Evaluation process

The proctored exam for Digital System Design is an offline exam conducted by Swayam to determine whether you are eligible for the certificate. If you pay the exam fee and fill the online registration form, you will be allotted an exam centre. To gain the official certificate by Swayam and NPTEL, you must score an average of 10/25 in assignments and an average score of 30/75 in the final exam. After the exam, your final score will be calculated as the summation of the two average scores, which must be 40 or above. If the minimum criteria of assignment score and final exam score are not met, a certificate will not be awarded regardless of your final score.
