IIT Ropar Facilities and Infrastructure

Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar offers various infrastructural facilities for students and faculty members. Students are provided with well-equipped laboratories and these laboratories offer research facilities for the students and staff. IIT Ropar Location

Indian Institute of Technology Ropar is situated at Ropar (also known as Rupnagar) in Punjab. The nearest bus station is Rupnagar Old Bus Stand in Chota Khera, about 8 kilometres from the campus. The nearest railway station is Rupnagar Railway station, located at about 2kms from the institute. Candidates can also fly in at Chandigarh airport situated about 60 kilometres away and take the National Highway NH-21 to the IIT Ropar campus. Ropar town has a robust railway and road connectivity for students to arrive at the IIT Ropar campus.
