12 MonthsMaster of Philosophy (MPhil) in Population Studies is a Full-time one-year postgraduate research program and it is offered by the International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai.
Note:
- The upper age limit is 30 years as on 30th June. Marks and age will be relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories and female as per Government of India rule only.
- Fellowship: Each selected Indian student will be awarded a Government of India fellowship @ Rs. 6,000/- per month. In addition, a contingency grant of Rs. 5,000/- per annum shall be paid for approved contingency expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates holding a Master’s degree in Population Studies, Demography, Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Biostatistics & Demography, and Biostatistics from a recognized university in India or abroad with a minimum of 55% (50% for reserved candidates) of aggregate marks or equivalent grade will be eligible for admission.
Admission Details
On the basis of a common online entrance test and personal interview.
