CEMK admission process, concerning merit and selection of qualified students, is strictly followed and laid down under the merit-based admission scheme at CEMK. Here, admissions are based on the two major and important joint entrance examinations: the WBJEE and the JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination [Main]).

CEMK admission process into B. Tech programmes mainly include the completion of 10+2 or an equivalent examination, having compulsory subjects – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. CEMK admission process candidates need to secure marks following the minimum criterion set by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board or the JEE Main conducting authority.

This process of application for admission in CEMK is different for the applications to be made through different entrance examinations:

For WBJEE-based admissions:

• Register for WBJEE on the official website of WBJEE.
• Fill up an online application form with all personal and academic details as accurately as possible.
• Upload all required documents along with one recent passport-size photograph and signature.
• Pay application fees online.
• Submit the filled application form and take a printout for future reference.
• Attend the WBJEE examination on the specified date.
• Post results, register for online counselling as conducted by the WBJEE Board.

Admission Through JEE Main:

• Register and apply for JEE Main at the official NTA JEE website.

• Submit the form and take a hard copy of the confirmation page.
• Appear for the JEE Main examination as scheduled.

CEMK B.Tech Admission Process

CEMK is offering seven B.Tech degrees. Here is the total intake number of seats for B.Tech programmes at CEMK:

• Computer Science and Engineering – 240
• Electronics and Communication Engineering – 90
• Information Technology – 60
• Electrical Engineering – 60
• Mechanical Engineering – 30
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning – 120

Admission into these programmes is based on the individual's performance in either WBJEE or JEE Main, followed by a counselling process as directed by the WBJEE Board.

CEMK M.Tech Admission Process

CEMK offers an M.Tech in Mechatronics with an intake of 6 seats. The typical M.Tech admissions process includes the GATE score of the candidate and may also include personal interviews or other selection methods determined by the institute.
