There are so many faculties are there but the experience level is too low of the faculties. There are so many air conditioning laboratories are there but the classrooms doesn't have air conditioning and there so many playgrounds and hostels are not clean and the it's now hygienic and food quality is not Good here.
I have studied BTech in computer science and I didn't get any placement from there. But the teachers are so tough and they don't even help for the studies and the teaching quality is not good. The curriculum is so vast and they don't make you job ready.
The placement rates is 0 there the IT students got placed in sales companies with the salary of 12000 per month and there almost 500 students in my batch but only 40 people got placed through on campus placements.
For me this college is not value for money. I have spent 6.5 lacs there for the B.Tech but this is not worth it. In my opinion my money got wasted because I didn't get placed in campus placements because there are only eight companies there for the placements.
My college have a big play ground for cricket and football and there are lot's of cultural functions happen in every month . Only except education everything is good in this college. Teachers don't help students and the location is kolaghat.
It was a mixed experience for me .
Infrastructure at CEMK Kolaghat is decent for BTech ECE. Labs well equipped with tools for circuits and signals, library big with books and WiFi. 32 acre campus green, hostels separate for boys girls, 11 blocks clean but rooms small. Sports grounds for cricket football, gym there. Classrooms no AC, hot in summer. ATM and hospital nearby. Helps practical work good.
Academics okay, follows MAKAUT curriculum for ECE, covers comm systems and electronics. Faculty mostly helpful, use projectors but some outdated topics. Projects in labs build skills, attendance strict. Seminars from experts sometimes. Not top but fine basics, NBA accredited. Teachers support if you ask doubts. Overall, average for private college.
Placements for BTech ECE decent, about 80 percent get jobs if CGPA above 7. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro come, average 4.5 LPA, highest 11 LPA in 2024. 310 students placed last year. Training sessions for interviews, but core jobs less, mostly IT. Placement cell active, depends on skills. Better than many locals.
Fees around 1.2 lakh per year, reasonable for govt aided college. Gets labs, hostels, events for that, hostel extra 50k year. Placements okay so ROI good if placed. Compared to privates, worth it for budget. No big extras but quality okay. If you study hard, good deal. Affordable for ECE start.
Campus life fun, 32 acres green with fests like Resonance tech and Spandan cultural. Clubs for sports, drama, easy friends mix crowd. Canteens cheap food, lake inside for chill. Ragging free, seniors helpful. Near NH-41 easy travel, but rural quiet. Balanced studies fun, enjoyed events and games.

The college placements are commendable, with a strong emphasis on practical skills that attract top-tier recruiters. Students are well-prepared through rigorous training and industry exposure, resulting in high placement percentages across various domains.
Campus life in our college is amazing with a blend of modern design
From the moment I arrived on campus, I knew I was in for a treat. The infrastructure is truly world-class, with modern and sleek buildings that seem to defy gravity. The lecture halls are equipped with the latest technology, making learning a truly immersive experience. The library is a treasure trove of knowledge, with an impressive collection of books and journals. The sports facilities are top-notch, with a state-of-the-art gym and a sprawling stadium. The campus is always buzzing with energy, and I feel lucky to be a part of this vibrant community.
The academic support services, such as tutoring and academic advising, have been exceptional. The faculty’s willingness to provide extra help and guidance has been instrumental in my academic success. our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent development.
The alumni network is active and supportive, providing connections and opportunities that have helped me land a job in my field. The college’s reputation for academic excellence has given me a competitive edge in the job market.
College of Engineering and Management has the necessary infrastructure like smart labs, NBA-accredited, and every laboratory is well equipped. An open playground, open-air auditorium, free Wi-Fi zone, and a beautiful lake add a crown to this college environment.
Currently, I am studying B.Tech in computer science and engineering. Every teacher is well-known, and there are few guest lecturers. I think the course curriculum is updated according to cutting-edge technology.
Demand for Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning streams is very high, TCS is a mass recruiter and there are MNCs like Accenture, Capgemini, etc. The highest package is 14 LPA and the average salary is 5-6 LPA. For placement purposes, the college is very supportive.
The course for computer science and engineering takes taking total of 6 lac. INR in four years. Per year it costs 1.5 lac. being every facility is good, well experienced, and well-known faculty members are providing quality education. It's worth of money. The total program is cheaper than any other college
Campus life is perfect. On the green campus we have a big playground consisting of a cricket and football ground there are different hostels for the 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year, and 4th year students. 3rd year and 4th students get separate rooms for their studies. there are 24*7 electricity land lan connections provided. Qualified teachers are assigned to the regular classes and labs, labs are digitalized, and there is a huge library facility with a book bank that helps the students borrow books for the whole semester.
Our institution boasts state-of-the-art laboratories and classrooms furnished with essential equipment such as projectors and desktop computers. Our library offers a book bank service, providing books for an entire semester, and a study room for focused learning. It's evident that all facilities are meticulously maintained to support academic pursuits. Hostel accommodations include private rooms for third and fourth-year students. We also ensure the provision of hygienic meals three times a day.
I am presently in my third year of Computer Science studies. Given the high demand for this field, it was my chosen discipline. The faculty is extremely supportive, facilitating one-on-one interactions, and our experienced professors deliver high-quality lessons. The aptitude classes are particularly beneficial in preparing us for employment.
The Training and Placement Office (TPO) assists with job placements, with an average annual salary of ₹5,00,000 and the highest package reaching ₹12,00,000 this year. Remarkably, 87% of students secured placements. To aim for the highest salary packages, consider pursuing streams like Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML).
The annual fee for courses in Computer Science and Engineering, IT, AIML, ECE, and EE is ₹1,20,000. I believe the investment is justified given the high-quality education, state-of-the-art laboratories, and excellent mess and hostel facilities.
Our campus is environmentally friendly, featuring a spacious playground, gym, canteen, and indoor games facilities. The faculty is incredibly supportive, enriching our academic experience with their exceptional knowledge and resources. Located near the Kolaghat Thermal Power Station, our college ensures student safety by providing an ambulance service for emergencies, with the nearest hospital conveniently within walking distance from the hostel.
Yes, my college have all necessary infrastructure, facilities, equipments etc are available. The all classrooms have projects for visual experience. The labs are also filled with a large unit of pcs. Library is also good. In the campus wifi is available. All types of spots are played in the sports time.
I choose this course because i wanted to be a Engineer. I study computer science and engineering. The teaching quality is very nice. All teachers are very helpful towards the every students. The teachers help us incase of semester studies and also for the placements.
The placement quality is also good. The average percentage of placements is around 85%-87%. The students get placed in many different companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, tech Mahindra, cognizant etc. the average salary offered by th companies around 5 lpa and the highest is around 12 lpa
This college and the course fees is value for money. My course cost around 1.2 lakhs per year. Hostel fees are also included in that. Yes, i can feel that i am getting my money's worth. Just because of the course is NBA aggregated and the placements are quite good.
Campus life is good. The best feature is every year students have different hostel bulidings. 1st and 2nd year students have 2 and 4 seater rooms but the 3rd and 4th year students have single seater rooms for better studies. The teachers are very good and they are helping.
College infrastructure is good as all labs are well equipped and wifi facilities in the library, are well maintained. In the hostel, we have 24x7 electricity and water supply. Our mess is flexible so we can request to change the meal every 6 months We have a highly equipped gym
I am pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The quality of teaching is good most of the teachers target the complete set of students and then teach which leads everyone to understand the topic.
In our college, placements are good. In the year 2023, 74% are god placed with an average package of 6.0LPA with the highest package of 8.0LPA. The average placements process are smooth and they make it very easy.
In mechanical engineering department, college has all the lab facilities. In college there have one of the largest fluid mechanics lab in west bengal among all the private engineering college. All the required lab present in the college.
Most of the professor in the college are have good knowledge and experience. Some of the professor teaching techniques are brilliant. This a affiliate with Maulana Abdul Kalam Abdul University of Technology, West Bengal
Placement is worst for mechanical engineering department. Core company not interested to come to the college. You have to prepare for Job in IT industry. Day by day mechanical engineering students also decreasing.
If join in Computer science and Engineering, Information Technology,Electronics and communication then it's ok but not for core department such as mechanical, electral, applied Electronic. And total fees structure of the course around 4 lakhs without hostel.
College has the best hostel facility. There is separate hostel for Frist, second, third, forth year students. also ther is good hostel facility for girls. Food quality is average. Transport facility in the area is good.
Although having a small campus of 32 acres colleges manages to provide each and every facilities to students.College do have their good library , study room , big classrooms , hostels and all are in running conditions. The campus is really good.
As per my concern College is good if you're going in CS-IT branch. Academic section is good here. All the faculties are well educated and have good understanding knowledge, their behaviour is also good toward students.
Placement is on average side here.TCSs and other tech geek companies comes and takes placement venture but for core it is negligible. Around 3-7 lpa packages fell around and you will be great if you will be in CS branch.
Apart from having private college it's fees is really low and appreciable tution fee per semester 60k is quite acceptable and it values our money too. When I was there in 2006 the fees were morever less as compared to today's but it is quite affordable.
Green campus and Kolkata weather makes all thing clear that you're going to enjoy your life , hostel nights , tech feat cultural festival are something you're going to enjoy too much here. Best wishes from my sides.
