Not as fruitful an experience as you'd expect

PVG used to be a good college, but that was before my time. As of 2018, most of the faculty are either young graduates hired out of necessity or old professors with huge ego issues and not enough knowledge or teaching skills. But that's something which can be managed if the campus activities were given more attention, which they're not. All the college festivals happen in a three-day span that the management provides grudgingly, just to keep up the semblance of being a college. And finally, the placements. Unless you're one of those students who have a stellar record with amazing grades throughout your four-year course, you're in for a serious shock. The only placements that happen reliably are the mass recruitments in IT, with the lowest packages available. I would not recommend PVG, not unless the management make some serious changes in their attitude. If you're already here, better start looking out for yourself because you won't get any help here.

The first thing you might notice is that the campus is quite small and the infrastructure is not up to the mark. The crowd is a mixed bag. Some teachers are really good but some are bad. Extra curriculars are okay. Attendance is not as strict as some of the other colleges in the city. There is no large scale college fest. Moderate amount of industry exposure and okay placements.

It has a amazing college life, experienced faculty and good hostel. Art circle of PVG is very popular. The college is affordable. It is educationally sound. College library has very rich collection of reference books. In all, it has a good infrastructure. Sharing four years of life in this college is one thing one will never regret.

PVG COET is a good college. Experienced faculty. They are good at teacher-student interface. The college has good educational environment. The college canteen is average. The hostel life seems really cool. The placements are good. Sophistically speaking a decent college to admit to for higher education.

College campus is actually not that good But it doesn't matter it is just a plus point for a college to have a big campus. All that matter is crowd , faculty , the way teachers will make a boring subject intersting and sports (atlest for me ) And another thing the interaction between girls and boys is also not that good. But im only in FE . So i hope that interaction will be good in future. Some Teachers are quiet strict for attendance especially Entc branch So i hope this will help you and ill suugest you to take admission here :)

PVG COET is indeed a good college to have a degree from. Even though it is not an autonomous college (except printing and tech engg) it has a very good educational approach to the latest technologies. The faculty is very good. The hostels are good with facilities such as hot water, good quality food, recreational activities. The college aesthetics are very good. PVG holds good job placements. The tuition fees are reasonable.

I would say the college has got many good points such as faculty and overall environment but other facilities like a playground or highly equipped labs are not provided. Faculty members are rather strict but also good at teaching. Overall the college is pretty better compared to normal standards but not a top notch!

College with very good faculty and placements. Has the advantage of location. Situated right in the heart of the city. Hostel accommodation is only for 1st-year students and the rooms are moderately nice. The faculty is experienced for most of the subjects and the infrastructure needed for engineering learning is readily available.

Midgets Guide of creativity and career or my cozy college

As this is my first year in Pune Vidyarthi Gruha, I will do my best to tell you about my college. This college comes under Pune University which is the 27th best University globally, for Undergraduate courses according to the Times. My college PVG is ranked as the second best college under the Pune University which has more than 300 colleges affiliated to it. My college has an excellent campus. Many high ranking companies come to my college for job interviews. However, the college infrastructure is not so good. The college has a school attached to it. Also, the college itself is not very big. The plus point is that it has huge trees in the campus which feels very nice in the otherwise polluted city. It also has nice gardens and lawns where students can sit back and relax. I personally love the campus and it feels like I am still in school which I very much miss. Attendance for First Year students is compulsory. There is a provision of hostel for the students. But unfortunately, there is only Boys Hostel. The girls have to live in hostel's outside the campus. The canteen is excellent with its Indian, Chinese and many other dishes. There is a well-stocked library containing plenty of books regarding various subjects. The college is located in the most populated area of Pune. The labs in my college have all facilities needed for Undergraduate Students. My college is very strict and any illegal practices like smoking, drinking are banned. It is ranked as the number one college in regards to Anti-Ragging and student safety. So in all, I love my college and though it is very good in some fields, there is much scope for improvement in others.

College life is as good as a regular life... Not a great infrastructure but counted as one of Pune's top colleges ..it has good and helpful faculty basic facilities available.... A lot of events throughout the year .... A library to look up to.... The labs are well equipped an atmosphere where you realise that yes we are doing engineering ..... Canteen with lovely food..... Only boys hostel in the campus girls needs to be accommodated outside the campus many girls hostels available a proper medical store and doctor facilities available strict college security well-managed parking slots and xerox centre inside the campus.

A quiet engineering college in a busy place

An engineering college where peace prevails along with academic excellence. Filled out outstanding faculty , facility and foundation. The college never seizes to disappoint any student in any form of life , be it academic , sports, personal or professional. The placement scenario is also ever growing and at par with the best engineering colleges in the country.

The staff was good but the crowd was not.

The college was very good as far as the teaching staff was concerned. The placements were good, the only poor factor being -students were able to appear for only one company, and once aced their name was removed from the placement list. There were many tech fests as well as fun fests organised by the college at the state level. Infrastructure wise too the college was good. The office staff though was annoying and created hell lot of problems for students. The canteen was good too but would have been better if there were lesser rats visiting ;)
