    Shantaben Manubhai Patel School of Studies and Research in Architecture and Interior Design Anand (SMAID) is a renowned school running various programmes in architecture, interior design, and urban planning.     For B.Arch:

    •  Pay the application fee online.
    •  Wait for the merit list to be published by the institute.

    For BID and B.Plan:

    •  For BID, register for the SMAID Entrance Test. For B.Plan, appear for GUJCET.
    •  Fill out the online application form on the SMAID website.
    •  Upload required documents.
    •  Pay the application fee through the online portal.
    •  Attend any additional rounds of selection, if required by the institute.

    For Postgraduate programmes (MID and M.Plan):

    •  For M.Plan, appear for Gujarat PGCET. For MID, check the specific requirements on the SMAID website.
    •  Complete the online application form for the respective programme.
    •  Submit all necessary documents.
    •  Pay the required application fee.
    •  Participate in any additional selection processes as notified by the institute.

    SMAID Degree-wise Admission Process

    SMAID B.Arch Admissions 

    SMAID Admission to the B.Arch programme is based on performance in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) on the part of candidates. The approved intake for the program is 40 seats. Students are eligible only after having completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

    SMAID BID (Bachelor of Interior Design) Admissions 

    The admission process for the BID programme involves conducting an Entrance Test under the aegis of SMAID. The emphasis in this programme is on developing interior designing skills and creativity.

    SMAID B.Plan (Bachelor of Planning) Admissions 

    For the B.Plan programme, candidates must qualify in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET). This course is most suited for students interested in urban and regional planning.

    SMAID MID (Master of Interior Design) Admissions 

    SMAID admission details are unspecified, although all postgraduate programmes normally call for a suitable bachelor's degree, and may consider scores from an entrance exam or administer an Admission test of their own.

    SMAID M.Plan Urban and Regional Planning Admissions 

    For this specific postgraduate programme, admissions will be given through the Gujarat Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Gujarat PGCET). This training programme is for the people with an ambition to improve their understanding and specialisation in urban and regional planning.

    Documents required for SMAID Admission Process

    Students are required to submit the following documents:-

    • For B.Arch- NATA score card, 10+2 mark sheets, and other required certificates.
    • For BID and B.Plan- entrance exam score cards and academic certificates.
    • For MID and M.Plan- graduation mark sheets and entrance exam scores.
