Shivaji College admissions to all the UG courses are offered through merit mode. Shivaji College admission to the UG course is based on the marks secured by the candidate in class 12th board exam. Shivaji College admission to PG courses is offered via two channels - DUET (entrance exam) and merit basis. As per the Shivaji College admission procedure for the PG course, 50% of seats are based on the merit of the qualifying exam for the candidates from various streams in DU colleges, while the other 50 percent seats are reserved for candidates applying through DUET.
The UG courses disciplines for Shivaji College admission include Science, Commerce, and Humanities, while for PG level the college offers language subjects like Hindi, Political Science, and Sanskrit. Shivaji College admission has been explained below in detail.

Shivaji College admission procedure to the undergraduate course is done based on merit. Shivaji College admission criteria to the UG course depends on the passing marks secured in the 10+2 exam and an aggregate of 45% to 55% marks in the qualifying exam is required depending on the course opted by the candidate for Shivaji College admission process. The calculation is done based on marks secured in the ‘Best Four’ subjects where the applicant must meet the cut off requirement and the final Shivaji College admission process is based on the merit of the college.

Candidates are required to register online for the Shivaji College UG admission on the DU official website.
Then the candidates are required to create their profile on the DU website by using their profile on the website.
With the help of using a username and password, the candidate can fill up the registration form and choose their course.
Shivaji College admission to the UG course is offered based on the merit of the qualifying exam.
Then the candidates have to meet the Shivaji College cut off requirement.
Candidates meeting the cut off requirement have to report to the institution to complete the last stage of the Shivaji College admission process by paying the fees and getting the documents verified.
Shivaji College admission procedure to the PG course is based on both merit and entrance - DUET. Merit-based admissions are offered only to DU graduates. In Shivaji College PG admissions 50% of seats are filled by the entrance exam and the other 50% of seats are based on the merit of the qualifying exam.

Aspiring candidates have to apply and appear for the Delhi University Entrance Examination (DUET) which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Based on the marks secured by the candidate in DUET, a merit list is published for shortlisting of the candidates.
Shortlisted candidates are a part of the last stage of the Shivaji College admission process that comprises document verification or fee payment.
Aspiring candidates for Shivaji College PG admission have to register online through the DU admission portal.
Shivaji College PG admission (on merit) is based on the marks secured in graduation. This is applicable only for DU graduates.
The cut off list is released by the DU based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.
Then the candidates have to meet the Shivaji College cut off requirements.
