Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in Economics is a three-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Shivaji College, Delhi and affiliated to University of Delhi, Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

The applicant must have studied and passed Mathematics at the qualifying examination for admission to B.A. (Honours) in Economics. The merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects as specified in List A and List B above.

Out of three academic/elective subjects chosen above, one must be the concerned subject in which the admission is sought, failing which a deduction of 2.5% will be imposed on the aggregate “Best Four” percentage.

Inclusion of any subject other than those given in Lists A and B in the “best three” will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per subject on the aggregate of the Best Four.

Admission Details

Selection will be made on the basis of Cut-Off in the qualifying exam.

Shivaji college is one of the best colleges of delhi university. It has got all the necessary facilities and infrastructure. the classrooms and buildings are well maintained and have good cleanliness.

College Infrastructure

The college campus is not huge or super flashy, but it has a comforting, familiar vibe and there is enough open space to chill between classes and a sense of community here, especially among those active in cultural and academic societies.

Academically fulfilling while being the most fun place.

College Infrastructure

The college has primarily 2 buildings that are inter connected, the newer building infra is top notch with clean washrooms, beautiful classes just the only issue is lack of AC. The older building is also pretty good, but you can tell that it's old by the chipped off paint, old desks.
