You can definitely change you category from general to ews if you have done a mistake while filling your jee mains application form. You can do so when the correction window opens. The dates for the same are 19th january to 21st january, 2021. So if you wish to correct you application form don't miss the dates and you can do so by visiting the official website of NTA.
