With 460 marks in NEET 2024 and belonging to the OBC category, getting a government medical college seat in Bangalore is quite competitive. In Karnataka, especially in top government colleges in Bangalore like Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI), the cutoff for OBC category generally goes above 500 marks due to high demand and limited seats.

However, you may still have a good chance of getting a government quota seat in a private medical college in Karnataka through KEA counselling. These are private colleges where the fees are subsidized under the government quota. The cutoff for such seats under the OBC category is often around 440–470 marks, depending on the college and year-wise variation.

So, while a seat in a government medical college in Bangalore might be difficult, you do have a decent chance in private colleges under government quota.
