Yes, you can take the CAT 2024 exam in your third year of B.Tech for practice, but it will be considered valid for admissions in the 2025 academic cycle. If you perform well, the score will remain valid for one year. However, CAT doesn’t allow you to appear just for practice, and your score will be officially recorded. You can alternatively use mock tests and preparatory exams for practice.
