Can you compare the plans of Jamboree and Career Launcher for GRE online coaching? I wish to enroll and have difficulty in deciding. Which would be a better idea?

Career Launcher, TIME these insititutes mainly specialize in CAT and other exams like CLAT, etc. As far as GRE is concerned, you should mainly rely on Official ETS Study Material, crucial books like Word Power Made Easy and couple of CAT Quant Books and GRE Material and Tests by Magoosh. However is affordable, you can also choose Jamboree. I believe unlike CAT, JEE and other competitive exams , GRE is more of a strategy than hardwork, in spite of the paper being easier than CAT, students lack essential skills and tricks to ace the exam.

Greetings,

So first things first, Career Launcher Online teaching plans for GRE are expensive while Jamboree's plans are affordable.

Now to choose better you need to think on these points:

- How much online attention would you personally require for GRE prep?

What I mean by this is that many students opt for self studies for GRE while they only require mock tests analysis, doubt clearing sessions and practice questions (since many great GRE books are available even without depending on coaching booklets)

- How much are you able to pay?

The cheapest jamboree plan costs around 5000Rs. offering 8 full length mocks (bear in mind that this is for students who want some extra help in way of tests and practice questions) aimed for self preparing students.

On the other hand, Career launcher's cheapest GRE online course is 25,000rs. (this is because Career launcher is a full fledged coaching institute so it reflects that attitude even in their online supplements) which offers 7 full length mocks

- What is your personal strategy?

So, if you only want an online test series with some video lectures and the rest you can handle by yourself then go for Jamboree but if you want the whole coaching experience then career launcher is the way to go. what I mean by that is - with CL you will get a lot of attention as a student - they have WhatsApp groups some teachers are readily available to help even online students (at their centers) and in general the CL network is much larger.

Bottom line is-

if you wish for a complete step by step help in prepping then CL it is and if you are comfortable with just some online resources that will augment  your self studies then go for Jamboree.

You should check their sites for course fees and all the necessary details that would help a lot.

Do not rush it, take your time and decide.

Good day!
