HBSE 10th Social Science Question Paper Pattern
The Haryana Board Class 10 Social Science paper includes different types of questions:
- Objective Type (MCQs): 1 mark each, Fact-based, very short questions
- Very Short Answer Questions: 1-2 marks, Answer in 1-2 lines
- Short Answer Questions: 3-4 marks, Answer in about 30-50 words
- Long Answer Questions: 5-6 marks, Detailed answers (around 80–100 words)
- Case Study / Passage-Based Questions: Questions based on a given paragraph
- 6. Map Work: Identify/locate places on the map of India. Usually carries 3-5 marks
