The central nominees are basically candidates of Central Pool quota. There is a long list who come under this quota:
.Students belonging to state / union territory with no medical college
. Wards of Defense personnel
.Children of para-military personnel
.Children of Indian Staff serving Indian missionaries abroad
.Tibetan refugges
.National Bravery award winning children
These are the candidates which come under Central Pool quota or Central nominees.
