there is such caluclation of giving bonous marks and all they just gave a percentile while to know your rank
To calculate you rank you can use the formulae given below -
Rank=(total number of students -(percentile*0.01*number of students))
Where total number of students who appeared for the examination is 9.65 lakhs.
while if your rank falls under 224000 then you are in to jee advance or else no
