Solution : As per the given bar graph:
The total votes received by X = 45 + 73 + 51 + 56 = 225 votes
The total votes in four regions A, B, C and D = 41 + 97 + 52 + 59 + 45 + 73 + 51 + 56 = 474 votes
Required percentage = $\frac{\text{Total votes received by X}}{{\text{Total votes in four regions A, B, C and D}}}× 100$
Required percentage = $\frac{\text{225}}{{\text{474}}}× 100\approx$ 47.5%
Hence, the correct answer is 47.5%.
