Documents of aiims entrance exam

AIIMS MBBS is the only entrance exam conducted for admission to MBBS course at any of the AIIMS institutes across india. The exam is supposed to be help on 25th and 26th May in online mode. The applications are already started on the official website and the last date to apply is 14th january.
Exam Pattern - The exam will be conducted in online mode and the paper will consists 200 marks with 1 mark awarded for correct answer and 1/3 marks deducted for incorrect answer. The paper has 4 sections with 60 questions each Physics, Chemistry and Biology and then 10 questions each from GK and Logical Reasoning.
Eligibility - The candidate need to qualify class 12th exam with Physics Chemistry and Biology and score a minimum 60% in the qualifying exam. Along with thi sone needs to be of atleast 17 years of age.
Admission Procedure -  The admission is based on the merit score of the entrance exam and candidates are selected through the subsequent rounds of councelling. The cutoff for qualifying the exam is 50th percentile, but the cutoff for selection remains very high. Candidates scoring 99th percentile approx are the ones who get admitted. So it is suggested to prepare well and score high to secure a seat for one self.

• Photograph - 3.5 x 4.5 cms ; Recent , coloured passport size photograph with white background ; Format : JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG ; Size : 50kb to 100kb
• Signature - 6 x 3 cms ; Format : JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG ; Size : 10kb to 50kb
• Left Thumb Impression - 4 x 3 cms ;  Size : 10kb to 50kb ; Format : JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG

No particular official documents, except for digitally scanned copies of the candidate’s photograph, signature and left thumb impression are required to be uploaded for the AIIMS application process. Candidates will however be required to enter their academic qualification details in the application form as displayed in their official documents. The specifications of digital photograph, signature and left thumb impression which needs to be uploaded for application process are as follows:
