Does 90% above marks in 12th help in getting admission in any good engineering college

All the good colleges in the country consider JEE mains score along with boards results. Generally, a merit list is formed by good colleges in which JEE score and boards percentage is considered. So, to be in the merit list you should have good results in both JEE and 12th standard. Only then you can get admission in good engineering college.

The Jee mains doesn't consider your board exam score, but you should have a minimum of 75% in order to qualify for the exam. Some state level entrance exams like KCET do consider your PCM scores in the board exam for ranking. It all depends on which exam you write.

All the colleges consider JEE Main score and 12th score for admission. So you have to mention your JEE Main score also. If you scored good rank in JEE Main then you definitely get admission in good NITs or government exam if you give the JEE advance and scored good rank then you will get admission in IITs as well.
