Hi aspirant,

You have obtained 98.8 percentile in JEE Main and you are willing to get Computer science Engineering (CSE) branch. Based on this percentile your Common Rank list (CRL) rank would be 13,000 approximately. Based on this rank you will surely get CSE in NIT but not in top ones like Trichy. Nevertheless, you can use our college predictor tool by clicking on the following link to predict your branch, obviously CSE and college :

To choose branch based on your rank or percentile you can visit the following link to see previous year cutoff: http://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches

98.863 percentile in Jee Main which means your expected rank would be around 9880. If the numbers of candidates increases in September session then your rank would also increase. Now the cutoffs depends on various factors such as your category, your desired branch, your home state etc are unknownto us. Going by last few years' data and your rank, you can expect CSE In NIT Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Patna, Silchar, Goa, Srinagar, Nagaland, Raipur, Agartala, Andhra Pradesh, Rourkela under All India quota general category. Now this is based on previous few years' cutoffs and this year it might change. I believe that 98+ percentile is gonna give a rank more than 10k and how can u tell that he/she can get an IIT ? For seat in IIT they need to get a good rank in JEE ADVANCED.
