Revision of income criteria-The limit of annual income of Rs. 4.50 lakhs has been raised to Rs. 6.00 lakhs for determining the creamy layer among Other Backword Classes (OBCs) candidates in the centrally funded technical education institutes.

The books written by O. P. Tondon are very good and more over, the models are like repeating from them.
Please go through some practice papers so that you'll get an idea on which models are repeating and also what are the new models. Then you can take mock tests too.

Hi Anupam, if the government has increased the limit of OBC non creamy layer from 6lacs to 8 lacs and if your father's income is below 8 lacs then you would easily come into the OBC non creamy layer
