Greetings to you,
As per your percentile score in JEE Mains 2019 and in accordance with your general category, you have not qualified JEE Mains 2019 in your respective category. The cut-off for general category was 89.75 percentile. Thus you cannot apply for JOSAA and hence cannot get into any of the NITs, IIITs or GFTIs. But you can surely get a seat in B.Tech Bio-Tech branch of JIIT Noida. Good luck.
Hello Atish,
To get NIT you first need to be JEE Main qualfied. In 2019 the JEE Main cutoff for general category candidates was 89.75 percentile, whereas you have only got 82.36 percentile. But you can go for counselling to get a seat , but will not get in the first few rounds of JoSAA counselling. You might get in the last rounds. Now, since you want biotechnology you might be able to get that but better attend the counselling session to confirm whether are you getting a seat or not. Below I have listed some of the NITs with their previous year cutoff for Biotechnology under general category -
Now these are the closing ranks for Biotechnology in these NITs according to 2018 JEE Main cutoff. If you want to get into colleges other than NITs, then attend the respective counselling session of that college.
You can go through this link and check the details regarding JoSAA counselling : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-counselling
Hope that you get a good college of your choice. Good Luck !!!
