Hello I've got my result on 13th of July. I'm passed in all subjects except chemistry (theory= 19 marks). So my question is can I opt for neet 2020 this year?? Will the compartment exam being conducted and the results will declared before neet counseling or should I simply go for a rechecking??

Hi,

This can be decided only if you combine both your theory as well as your practical marks together. If you pass in Chemistry only then you can attempt NEET examination this year.

Although, NEET only considers your PCB marks for the eligibility to attempt the exam, you have to pass 10+2 all your subjects from a recognized board. So, if you have failed in Chemistry subject as a whole. You may not attempt the NEET Examination. You can apply for reevaluation or you can take the compartment exam in order to pass the subject.

Hope this helps. All the best!
