See in your case you must use affidavit in your applications of government job. This is because you have different names on government ID proofs and on your academic records or you can also use your marriage certificate because it will clarify that your surname has been changed now and it differs as per the marriage certificate and updated government ID proofs. So from then your new name will be considered that is mentioned there on your government ID proofs.
