Hello !

The NITs mess food is manageable and not so bad as per the reviews of the students.

They provide 4 meals a day, breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Extra variety of dishes in veg and non veg are available on paying extra money. 

Feedbacks regarding the quality and quantity of the food are taken. There is a mess committee as well. Apart from the mess, there are other canteens as well.

From your question I assume you are going to join an NIT this year, Congratulations for that.

As far as food in mess goes it depends on which NIT you are talking about ,since all of them have different systems and menus at mess.

But most of the NITs serve non veg atleast 3-4 times a week , sometimes even every day in the week.
