how many attempts are there for k-cet and what is the age limit

KCET is a State Level Entrance Examination conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority for admission to B.Tech, B.Pharm and B.Sc Agriculture (Hons). As of now there is no upper age limit to appear for KCET Entrance Examination. There is no limit to the number of attempts for KCET. To apply for B.Tech you must have passed 10+2 equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with any of the optional subjects - Biology/Chemistry/Bio-Technology/ Electronics/Computer Science with a language subject English from a recognized board. To apply for B.Pharm you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics/Biology, Physics and Chemistry. If your category is General you must have scored 45% aggregate, reserved categories i.e. Category-I, OBC, and ST/SC must have scored40% aggregate to apply for KCET or you must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy for a government approved and general candidates should have scored 45% and SC/ST categories and Category-I and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) must have scored minimum 40%. To apply for B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and an optional subject as Biology from a recognized board.

There are no maximum attempts or age limit for KCET exam. As long as the candidate has passed their class 12/PUC examination or candidates who have appeared in their class 12/PUC examination in 2022 and waiting for their result are eligible for KCET 2022. KEA will release the KCET 2022 application form at kea.kar.nic.in. The authorities will soon release the KCET 2022 application form release date.  The dates for the release of the application form is not known. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. Candidates will have to pay the KCET 2022 application fee of Rs. 500/- or Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/ Female in online or offline mode.
