JEE Mains cutoff changes every year according to number of students participating , toughness of paper and many other factors .
The cutoff are always different for different categories , going through pas t year cutoffs a general student will need around 105 marks (close to 90 percentile) in JEE Mains to qualify for the next stage of the exam which is JEE Advanced .
