Hi aspirant!!
There is no BC-B category in JEE Main . Candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards
From last 2 years, 70 marks is cut off marks for OBC category to qualify for JEE Advanced.
Hope this help
Thankyou
Hi
It's quite difficult to predict the marks required in jee mains to be eligible for JEE advanced as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination of jee mains for different shifts etc.
But when we look at past year Trends then to be eligible for JEE advanced ,cut off percentile for JEE mains 2020 for different categories is given below:-
* General :- 90.3765335 percentile
* GEN-EWS :- 70.2435518 percentile
* Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) :-72.8887969
* Scheduled Caste (SC) :- 50.1760245 percentile
* Scheduled Tribe (ST):- 39.0696101 percentile
* PwD :- 0.0618524 percentile
So, being from obc 72.8887969 percentile was required i. e around 40 marks to clear JEE mains cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced but as mentioned earlier cutoff keep changing every year so you should target at least around 55- 60 marks in jee mains to be on the safer side to be eligible for JEE advanced
Thank you
