How many years you have to study to become a lawyer?

the course for LLB is 3 years but to become a full professional lawyer you need a lot of fractus and it will improve upon practice their for people says that it take 5 + 3 years because after completing the degree then eat a lot of practice under senior advocates and thereforet that took lot of time to become a full professional lawyer.
