To apply for the B.Tech program at IIIT Trichy ST category students must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and secured at least 65 percent aggregate marks this is a relaxed criterion compared to the general requirement of 75 percent along with this students must also appear for the JEE Main exam and obtain a qualifying rank as per the cutoff. Admission is done through JoSAA or CSAB counselling. So good performance in JEE Main along with 65 percent in Class 12 is essential for eligibility.
