how to become a travel show host

To host a TV shows you should have qualification in any one or two of Production/ Direction/ TV Journalism/ Mass Communication/ TV Anchoring and/ or experience as an on-air personality/ host with knowledge about the category that they will be hosting – food, entertainment, nightlife, sightseeing, etc. and should be dynamic, outgoing, vivacious, and fun (with a good sense of humor).

There is not any such straight path. What you can do is apply for internships in production houses, television news channels which produce such shows. You should be willing to appear in auditions for anchoring role. Once you get the opportunity to anchor a programme, it opens door for multiple opportunities as you can showcase your work after acquiring relevant working experience. Must exude an excitement and enthusiasm for the places that you are “discovering and sharing” with TV viewers.

The audition usually involves uploading a video of yourself talking about your interests, experiences, and hobbies. You might also become a Travel Channel host by succeeding in a related field and building a reputation through online videos
