You can go for Engineering there are many other options in engineering like Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechanical, Automobile, Mechatronics, etc. the options are mostly same in India and abroad first decide what you want to do and then decide India or Abroad.

There are many options which you can opt even if you are a 11 PCM student.

In India you can give any exam irrespective of your 11-12th subject. You can go into Commerce, Law, medicine just prepare for the entrance exam for which you want to pursue your furthur studies.

As for Abroad, You can give SAT or LSAT for law and apply for the abroad colleges which you want to join and whichever course you want to pursue.

• Economics  is a highly sought after course. Colleges usually keep high cut-offs for economics honours. A graduate of this course usually goes into the banking and commerce sector.
• There is always the option of Physics or Chemistry honours. You receive a degree as a Bachelor of Science in that subject. People choose to follow it up with a master's in the same specialization, receiving jobs either in the research sector or as college professors.
• An interesting course is Maths honours. It can followed by a variety of Masters, including the up and coming acturial sciences. It is a new course with a lot of scope.
• English/Language honours to become a professor or maybe a public relations professional.

I'm sure that even now there are several courses I couldn't list. There's a lot of scope after Science, not just Engineering

Below are the options which you can choose other than engineering according to your interest.

1- Merchant Navy

3- Bachelor of science

4- Defence services

5- Railways

6- BBA

7-Commerce

8- Arts and Humanities

It is recommended to do your UG course from India only as it has various good colleges for UG courses.

Incase you are not planning to choose the engineering field then you can choose the below fields:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy  4 years duration course. It is an undergraduate course which interested candidate can take up after 12th Standard. A student who has studied either PCM or PCB in 12th Class is eligible to apply for the course. It is a job oriented course which gives students ample career prospects in both the public and private sector. The study of Pharmacy doesn't end in the graduate level, a student can extent and go ahead to study the Masters of Pharmacy. After the completion of B. Pharm or M. Pharm degree, a student can take up any of the following medical jobs:

-          Bio-Technology Industries

-          Drug Technician

-          Drug Therapist

-          Health Inspector

-          Pathologist

-          Pharmacist

-          Research & Development

-          Research Officer

-          Scientist

• NDA

You can join either the army, navy or air force.

• Bachelor of Planning & Design - You can opt for designing courses such as production design, automobile design, industrial design, etc from a reputed national/ government or private university in India & abroad.
• You can choose BBA/MBA course
