Olympiads are usually held at zonal ,national and international levels, where clearing the national and international levels hold more significance.Clearing Zonal Informatics Olympiads is the first stage out of the 3 stages to reach International Olympiad in Informatics.  Next , step is the INOI (Indian National Olympiad in Informatics) for which you will have to clear the Zonal Computing Olympiad. Once you clear the INOI ,the final stage would be IOI(International Olympiad in Informatics). The olympiad merits are like an added advantage which gives a picture about your academic excellence. It will be useful while applying for college education especially abroad . it will add value to your resume and college application. But for that, I suggest you to clear the national level olympiads.
