Yes you have some good chances to get an NIT . Since your rank is around 140000 but you are from SC Category. Therefore you have good chances to get into some NITs .

But you might not best branches in good NIT. You may get Metallurgy, Production, Chemical and Civil or some more in NIT Jalandhar, NIT RAIPUR, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Delhi and some more.

You should also search for JAC Delhi Counseling which includes NSIT , DTU and IIIT Delhi . You have good chances in that provided you qualify the certain criteria of Board percentage.
