I am in 12th want to take a gap of 1 year after that can I am illegible for giving neet exam ? what are problems for taking gap? are there any restrictions for taking gap ?

Hello Aspirant,

As per the latest NEET eligibility criteria if you have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board and the class 12 percentage to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects which is :-

  • UR - 50%,
  • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
  • PWD - 45%

So if you fulfil the above criteria then you are eligible for NEET because there is no upper age limit for NEET exam. There will be no restrictions for having a gap.
