Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L) follows a two stage selection process for its admissions to the PGP, PGP-ABM, & PGP-SM

Stage 1: Shortlisting for Writing Ability Test (WAT) – Personal Interview (PI)

Stage 2: Criteria for Final Selection of candidates for PGP/PGP-ABM/PGP-SM programme.
Candidates who clear the stage 1 shall be called for WAT-PI process. On the basis of final score candidate willget admission in PGP, PGP-ABM, & PGP-SM.
Here are the cutoffs based on previous years data regarding the cutoffs in iiml-

Sectional (all the 3 sections)

Gen: 85 percentile

OBC: 77 percentile

SC: 55 percentile

ST: 50 percentile

PWD: 55 percentile

Total cutoff

GEN: 90 percentile

OBC: 82 percentile

SC: 70 percentile

ST: 65 percentile

PWD: 70 percentile


In IIML, to get a call for PGP-ABM, you need to not only clear the aggregate cut off but also the sectional cutoffs . I know of a person, who had a percentile above 90, had academic diversity too but couldn't clear sectional cutoff of one section, because of which he couldn't receive a call for GD-PI from PGP-ABM.
