Seat matrix refers to the number of seats offered by a University during counselling. It gives you an idea of how many students are going to compete for the same seat, the matrix changes every year. It determines the cut off of the university too. Lower the seat matrix, Higher is the cut off. So it helps you choose your colleges clearly.
