If you applied to JoSAA counseling through SC Quota, then obviously you will be placed according to your SC cutoff Rank. You can check on the cutoff lists that there is a table with SC Cutoffs, you have to check that table to know what is the cutoff for different courses. Your seat will be upgraded if your rank matches the cutoff range. Best of Luck.
