If you attend the counseling in the Main campus (Kattankulathur), you can choose to take admission in any campus. But if you come to NCR campus, you cannot choose any other campus. So if you are doubtful, go to the main campus.Talking about the placements of NCR campus, almost all the companies visit the main campus only, and students from all the campuses visit Chennai to attend the placement drives.
