U can try for private universities brother. Dont lose hope. This is just a small step towards success. Always feel motivated towards the goal. Can i plz know ur home state?And was this year ur first attempt for jee or second?

brother. u can also plan for a drop. But be sure to work very hard. And then ur aim should be just iit.
another option could be. get a college, study well and try to attempt jee next year again. if score improves drastically, u can apply for a college change or else continue with ur own college.

My suggestion would be to select a college and work hard for 4 years. as college doesn't matters a lot for ur development. What matters is how u spent ur 4 years and what sort of all round performer u are.

apply for vit, bits, Manipal,srm,nirma,sastra...among these all the colleges have management quota except Manipal.

Why are some people commenting so negative?
I also scored only 62 in Jee main because I was sick few days before exam,but in VITEEE I somehow managed to get rank 32k which is enough to get a good branch in VIT.
If you guys can't answer then don't discourage atleast.
And bro,you should try in some private colleges,there are many.Check the lists of private colleges which provide admission on basis of JEE main marks.

uttam bro...u think 32k in viteee is a good rank. get some life man....u won't even get admission without management quota.
Of course,it's not a good rank.But it's something unexpected from a person who scored only 60 marks in jee main.The point is to not judge anyone's talent or passion for engineering just by Jee main score.Not all successful engineers in India have cleared jee main,many of them didn't even attend jee exam because they thought Jee is not their cup of tea,but now,they're even more successful than many of of the IITs or NITs graduates.Demotivating someone based on his/her failures has always been easy than encouraging,and apparantly,you're not doing any different here.
