Hello,

If you have got 82% in 10th class, you can expect to be admitted in a good WBCHSE school. You must have good marks in maths and science as many schools give priority to this for choosing PCMB.

Application Process

  • Timeline: Starts soon after Madhyamik results (usually in May–June).
  • Mode: Varies by school — can be online or offline.
  • Documents Required:
  • Class 10 marksheet
  • Transfer certificate (if changing school)
  • Passport-size photos
  • Aadhaar card or birth certificate
  • Caste/Income certificate (if applicable)
  • Application Fee: Varies by institution (Rs200–500)

The selection is mostly merit based.

Hope this helps. All the best!
