Congrats on such a good percentile. A 97+ percentile is good enough to get admission in NITs. But to secure a seat in a top NIT like Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal etc., you will need 98.5+ percentile, which you have got. But if you are aiming for branches like CSE at these NITs, then you will require a good 99.6+ percentile.
To appear for JEE Advanced, the cutoff would be between 75-78% percentile, which you will clear. Best wishes for JEE Advanced.
In class 12th, you will need 75% marks or have to be in top 20 percentile to get admission in an IIT/ NIT/ IIIT/ CFTI.
