i got a different application number for jan as well as april attempt though i appeared for jan attempt what do i do now?

It is possible that you might have registered twice for the April JEE Main session.

As per the NTA notice, multiple applications by the candidate will be rejected automatically.

So, check your JEE Main Jan session application number and attend the exam with that candidature only (because if your score doesn't improve, you will have that as backup and having double application is not legal).

To be more sure, you can contact the helpline number and inform them the same.

Application number for both the JEE Main (Jan and Apr) remains same.

But the Roll numbers that are allotted after the admit cards are out are different for both the exams.

When you will register for JEE Main April exam, you will have to use the same application number as that of January (for those who have registered for Jan exam).

Those who have not registered for Jan exam and wish to appear for Apr exam, they will have to register themselves during the registration window (For April session). Such candidates will get a new Application number.

In case you have attempted jan attempt, then you must contact the helpline numbers and bring this under the notice of authorities.
