The improvement exam is designed to allow students to attempt to improve their scores in one or more subjects.

If you fail the improvement exam, your previous passing marks remain valid. Your original passing marksheet will not be replaced by a "FAIL" mark from the improvement exam.

You do not need to appear for a compartment exam if you fail the improvement exam

Your original passing marks will be accepted by colleges and universities for admissions purposes, even if you appear for and fail an improvement exam.

While it's natural to feel tense, focus on your studies for the improvement exam and try your best. If you don't achieve the desired improvement, your previous passing marks will still be valid.
